Statutes of the Malian Association Balimaya
I. Name and site of the Malian Association
An association under the name “Malian Association” with seat in Riehen, in the sense of article 60 ff of the Swiss Civil Code has been founded.
II. Aim of the Malian Association
The Association’s aims are to regularly inform its members and other interested circles on cultural subjects, consulting in the social domain, mutual support morally and financially, organization of festivities, encourage togetherness, promote integration and to support women’s communities in Mali.
III. Means of the Association
The Association intends to reach its aims through:
- Regular Meetings
- Contacts per telephone and internet
- Other activities
IV. Finances of the Malian Association
The Malian Association is financed through:
- Contributions of its members
The executives of the Association are:
- The assembly of its members
- The executive board (at present 3 persons)
The assembly of the Association takes place once a year and is being announced at least one month prior to its date, in writing or by phone to its members. The assembly is competent to forming a quorum if a minimum of 3 members are present. The passing of a resolution is valid by a simple majority of votes given. The presidency over the assembly is lead by a member of the executive board. The protocol is also made by a member of the executive board. An annual statement of accounts is being made.
Member of the Malian Association will be who pays the annual contribution or who can identify himself with the aim of the Association.
